Wedding Invitations

I drew up these invitations the other day for a bride but because of time constraints they won't be able to get them printed in time to use them. So I get to share them with you now! The bride is planning to do 1,000 paper cranes as her wedding theme - In case you don't know if you make 1,000 cranes you get a wish, how cool is that? She also included this Walt Disney Mulan Giclee as inspiration since she received it as a gift from her fiancée.

And in other exciting news I am starting to offer my invitations for purchase in my Etsy Shop as PDF's for printing at home or you could send them in to a professional printer. So far I only have one option up in the shop but I going to be adding to it over the next few days and I will also be willing to take on custom orders.

Shower Invites

Well that took longer than expected...

Here are the shower invites that I made for a lovely young lady (with mums help).

The envelopes are folded card stock sewn up the sides- super fun.

Baby M's Shower

My amazingly awesome Aunt was kind enough to throw me a shower while I was back. This is the same Aunt who was kind enough to let me use her house for Uber's and my wedding. It was a ton of fun. I just wanted to show you the lovely spread and decorations.

And we can't forget my cousin Corrie. She had to leave a little early but she also helped with the shower. Isn't she adorable? She is just graduated from Monterrey and in another semester will have all of her teaching credentials done! Uber's Mom and I. I am so glad she got to be at a shower. I had so much fun getting to spend time with Ubers parents!

Shower

So the shower was last night and I forgot to take pictures of the decorations prior to the shower. I cannot believe I slipped up with that I am blaming it on being exhausted. So here are a few that were taken during... they are kind of washed out but you will get the gist!
The baby's room is a butterfly theme so that is what we did for the shower.

This is the garland that hung over the food and cake. I made it out of punched paper adhered to grosgrain ribbon. I did them in four layers to give a 3d effect.

Over the gift table I did tissue paper poofs for the clouds and cut out butterflies to fly around them.

The mom-to-be really liked them she took all of the decorations home with her for the babies room, which is awesome because I would hate to have throw them out...and I think uber was really happy about it because I probably would have left them up for a while!!

last but not least here's the cake it was scrumptious. We didn't even put a dent in it. It's from Cinotti's bakery check it out if you are local.

Alright I am off.... to bed... at 9pm on a friday night!! Yes, I am that tired.
